first time mengalami perkara yg sedemikian rupa. panic bagai nak rak kasut!! Lihat!
Okay...that wasn't exactly how it looked like but yes. mmg keta tenggelam sampai 3 quarters of the tyres (maknenyer macam air tu sampai separuh tayar bulat tu, tapi tinggi sikit. leh imejin x? )
ok. enuff with the tyres, back to the banjir kilat. ok. mlm tu (around maghrib), jie(my hsemate) saje je menjenguk keadaan di luar rumah memandangkan hujan tak berhenti dari td. tetiba kitorang pon tenganger dgn luasnyer dan menjerit dgn agak kuatnyer (lupa nk bgtau, i pon sibuk menjenguk skali kat blakang jie) apabila melihat keadaan keta2 kat dpn umah yg hampir ditenggelami air, tp nasib baik tidak, cuma tenggelam 3 per 4 daripada paras tayar yang bulat itu (ok neena, pls stop with the freaking tyres).
setelah mendengar jeritan kami, maka nana and wana ( my other 2 hsemates) pn begegas sambil berkata "what's the commotion??" @ "pesal??" we didnt hv to say anything. lps tu, semua pn begegas amik kunci keta dan begegas pegi mendapatkan kereta masing2. (mesaying screaming with pain, "MY BRAND NEW CAR!!!!!")
masa kuar tu, air dpn umah dh sampai takat 3/4 (okay, i really should stop with the fraction tutorial) daripada betis. pastukan...masa kitorang begerak mengharungi banjir ke arah keta msg2, kelihatan sampah sarap yg berbagai bentuk dan saiz ($#*!%) men lalu...je kat depan kitorang dengan muka takde perasaan. EEEEE. YEWWWW.
masuk je dlm keta (sambil bersyukur sbb mash ada plastik sbg alas kaki sbb blom beli kapet getah (kapet getah??!?? taktau pe nama mende alah) tangan terus menggigilgigil tak ingat dunia. kitorang pon memandu dgn selonyer (sbb nana kata kena slo2) mencari tapak yg tidak ditenggelami 3/4......ok2. tapi masa tu, the only thing that's been going on in my mind is "nak kuar serdang!! mmg nebes smbl menelefon ayah dan sebagainyer. banyak kali jugak la stuck sbb air semakin mengganas. tgk kat tepi jalan seberang dh ada keta yg dh tenggelam 2/4 @1/2 @ separuh @ setengah (bukan tayar! tapi kereta.)
time stuck2 tu la nana tesempak mamat hensem wakaka!!! *laughingjealously 'lady-like'ly*
lepas tu me and nana lepak kat luar taman sri serdang (tak jauh pon) smbil menunggu air surut. pastu nk blk air msh tak surut2. pastu pegi lepak umah kak emy mkn kek coklet ngan air neslo *drools*

She's here. She's finally here. my baby ;)

when i first saw her. she was drenched. it was a downpour before i came and get her. poor thing. sedih jek tgk dia dlm keadaan sebegitu ghuper. nonetheless, i'm very very thankful. syukur Alhamdulillah....tak semua orang dapat peluang macam ni. like my father said, "now you don't have to rely on others anymore". he's definitely right.
It's not that i was in desperate need of a car....it's just that i'm tired of having to ask for help each time i get errands from my supervisor, having to frantically search for a cab everytime one of my parents came over to kl so i can meet them before it gets dark, having to be drenched and shivering in the rain to meet my dad in kl, having to ask for a ride or call a cab just to get to the commuter station, having to wait for the weekend just so i can go out on my own and withdraw some money....hmmm...but i'm thankful. it wasn't the best life but i know there's always someone out there who's got it much much worst than me.
and now, it's like a huge truck has been lifted away from my shoulders..now i can go over to my aunt's by myself without them having to pick me up and send me back. now i can go back to jb by myself without having to ride with my aunt's family and getting her children all crammed up coz of my oversized urrmm...you-know-what (my hips never tell a lie lol) and my luggage...?....u don't wanna know.

ice city...
went back home last weekend. 3 hari je..ntah apa2 kan? pegi sabtu, blk kl isnin. first day puasa tu smpat sahur je kat umah. tak dan nk berbuka bersama ahli keluarga yg terchenta. oh! terkilan rasanyer. tapi takpe...it was definitely worth it walaupun sekejap. anything to be with yr family rite?
so i arrived in bintulu on saturday lebih kurang kol 3...malam tu, makan masakan ibu yg wlupun simple tapi cukup menyayat hati dan perasaan uhuhu...
the next day, kitorang bekpes kat kedai 'makcik slow'...mmg melekat la nama kedai tu...tak tau pun apa 'tajuk' sebenar kedai makan tu. layan woti canai ngan teh 'c' special. fuh masyuuukk. pastu kitorang bertolak p miri. i drove the whole two hours to miri, with my brother snoring next to me, and my parents at the back seat. hehehe...seronoknyer!!! loved it.
dah sampai miri, p skolah o'ol (my sis) and seludup dia kluar sekejap (sbb dia skolah asrama and she's in form 5). siap tunduk2 lg dalam keta takut pakguard nampak. my dad said "takpe, kalu kena apa2, ayah tanggung" chewah. mak akami pun bekobar2 keluar satu family pi mkn buffet at a hotel in miri (beghiyer kononyer sbb dh lama tak mkn luar sesama n esoknyer dh nk puasa huhu).....
At the lunch table my dad said "besnyer sume anak2 ayah ada makan sesama. kalu tak....angah ada, along takde. kalu along ada, angah takde. nazrin jugak yg sentiasa ada". i pon teharu la pulak wlupun my dad has been saying that a lot lately. everytime we got together. padahal 3 beradik je pon...bersepah2 je anak2 dia ni ha...
there's a new spot in town (my town bintulu) called ice city...and these are among the yummies

with my brother, nazrin. poor ool uhuhu..
